15 Rules of Emotionally Detached Men
Tuesday Aug 30, 2022
Tuesday Aug 30, 2022
In today’s episode, we unpack a list of 15 rules that emotionally detached men tend to live by, and why it’s important to know this. Here is a sampling of just the first 8 rules:
- I don’t know me, so I can’t know you.
- I don’t go to deep places, so you shouldn’t go there either.
- Emotions scare me, so I won’t go there even if you ask.
- Fear hinders me; I don’t have a healthy outlet for expressing fear.
- I get defensive and detach in order to make you stop talking or pursuing me.
- The emotional chaos of a woman is overwhelming; I would get lost in there.
- My wife has needs I can’t me, so I won’t try.
- When I don’t know what to do, I’ll just try to fix something.
Dive in with us on this journey to grow and mature emotionally as men so that we can have deep, thriving relationships.
